Call your friends today and make plans to Fly-in or Drive-in to the 2011 Open House at St. Louis Regional. A huge showcase of vintage planes, hot rods, classic automobiles and military vehicles will be available for viewing.

In past years visitors have included a B25J Mitchell Bomber, a P51 Mustang and the oldest C-47 still flying in its original condition. This year promises to be just as exciting with several contemporary aircraft flying in from Scott Air Force Base.

Along with constant action in the air, special guest planes will allow visitors on the ground to board and explore. There will be special displays for the kids. Food and drink will be on sale and families are welcome to bring picnic baskets.

The planes and cars will be gone on Sunday but kids age 8-17 can return with their parents for free flights sponsored by the EAA Chapter 864 Young Eagles. Advance sign up for flights can be done Saturday during the open house or on Sunday morning. Don’t miss this year’s big event. Free parking will be located in front of the airport which is on Hwy. 111 in Bethalto, just 2 miles north of Interstate 255. For more information call 1-888-562-9950.
